BioShield compound microbial agent for banana Panama disease and durian Phytophthora root rot
Using Vland Biotech's high-throughput microecological screening platform, superior strains with strong antagonistic activity against Fusarium and Phytophthora were selected and combined through an ecological balancing process to develop BioShield. It is a light yellow 100-mesh powder containing Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus methylotrophicus and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens at 1×10⁸ CFU/g each, with pH 5–6.
BioShield is applied to suppress pathogens associated with banana Panama disease and durian Phytophthora root rot while promoting root development, strengthening plant vigor and improving rhizosphere soil microecology.
Packing: 1–20 kg PP bag or OEM pack. Shelf life: at least 3 years under dry and clean conditions.

Application & Dosage: BioShield Microbial Biocontrol Powder
For root-zone management of banana Panama disease and durian Phytophthora root rot through transplant root dipping, growing-period root drenching, canopy drip-line drenching or drip irrigation.
Banana Panama Disease
- Transplanting treatment:Mix 1 kg BioShield with 15–20 L water and soak roots for 15–30 minutes; immediately after transplanting, pour 1–2 L diluted microbial solution around each plant.
- Growing-period root drench:Apply 6–7 kg/acre for 2–3 applications; double the rate in high-risk fields.
Durian Phytophthora Root Rot
- Newly planted seedlings:Dilute 2 kg BioShield in water and apply 2–3 L per seedling to the root zone along the canopy drip line.
- Mature fruiting trees over 2 years:For root drenching, apply 12–18 kg/acre after dilution along the canopy drip line. For drip irrigation, apply 6–8 kg/acre once before rain and once during the rainy period, twice consecutively at a 15-day interval.
