1. Preventive management of banana Fusarium wilt: BioShield can support integrated programs for banana Fusarium wilt, also known as Panama disease, caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense. It is best positioned at root dipping, transplant establishment and repeated root-zone maintenance. It cannot cure plants once systemic vascular infection is established; symptomatic plants still require prompt removal and sanitation.

2. Root-zone protection against durian Phytophthora root rot: For root rot, collar rot and tree decline associated with Phytophthora palmivora, finished microbial products may be applied through drip irrigation or around the canopy drip line before and during the rainy season. Drainage, raised beds and removal of decayed roots remain indispensable.
